University Choice?

One of the places where I'd like to study at is the UK.

So, I went to check out and apply for those Universities that interest me.

I wanna study Public Health in Univeristy because I figured that it wold be a really good prospect in the future, not that other field won't be as good. I just like Public Health thanks to the people I've meet and the experiences I've gained over the course of 3 years.

So yeah, I'd love to study Public Health, however, is it so rare to study Public Health in an undergraduate level, and the only country which I know that offers Public Health in a Bachelor level is the UK.

I applied, (obviously) since it's free of charge anyways, and got offers, for all the choices/univeristies that I've applied for.

However, finance pulled me back.

I was really bent on going to the UK but my mom wouldn't allow it. It's expensive and we can't afford it anyways. Getting a loan might help but it might be hard to get since we're not rich enough to qualify. So yeah.

Alternatively, I looked into University education in Malaysia.
Besides than UK education, I'd like to continue with some degree of Islamic education. So I had my mind set into getting into IIUM.

It's equally international, difference is, everyone is Muslim over there. So it's good right?

Plus, its cheap education, considering the rate exchange between Singapore and Malaysia. Although they don't offer Public Health, I choose to do Sociology in IIUM (if I get in). I wanted to do Psychology, but there's MATHS, STATISTICS, god knows how that ended in Poly, so nah.

Since, quite a number of my madrasah friends is in MY for Bachelor studies, it's not that bad right? It's still education, even if my career prospect turns out bad after Bachelor (hopefully not). I could still upgrade myself with a Masters education.

Even though my dream/goal to study in UK has not been met in Bachelor level, there's always a Masters level or Doctorate level aye? So, I'm not really down or bummed out by it.

Anyways, I just want to get out from this place (Singapore), anywhere but here. They say to search for quality education, but the truth is, you can study anywhere. And still have a good livelihood with it.

I think that Allah has got us covered, in terms of fate and luck. Everything is in His hand aye? So, I don't really worry much. 

For example, for Poly education, I just leave it to the hands of God. My mom chose the course for me, saying that this is good. I'm like yeah whatever. And at the end of the 3 years. Hey, I'm doing well and I'm satisfied with the course and turn out from that education.

So yeah, I don't really stress over it. He knows what's best for me.
