baking session again!

i baked again!

this time i tried to bake coffee bun, because my family always eat it.
and it looks pretty simple.

so i gave it a go!

this thing im baking is called Coffee Bun or Roti Boy/Mum
i did some research beforehand and found that it is actually quite popular in some parts of Asia.
like korea!
ohwow!

this is my first attempt to make bun/bread
so i am pretty stoked about it.

since i've always wanted to make bread.

the way the bun rise...

they rise but not exactly till its double in size.
i expect them to be bigger.

nonetheless, it risen., so~~ GOOD TRY!

is the topping.

which will be piped on top of the bun.

this is one of my first batch of buns.

the colour.... is not...dark.
and again, i expect it to be darker.

taste-wise.

it tasted like scones!
the bread itself.
the hardness and the denseness and taste is like scones.

so there IS something wrong with my recipe.

the piped top will be dissolve/melt into the bun.
so ~

at the end of it all,

i ate this bun with a cuppa coffee.
since the coffee flavour is not strong enough (close to not even present)
